Darlington Hippodrome's pantomime for this Christmas is Beauty and the Beast. TV presenter Matt Baker heads the cast, with Josh Benson and Jamie Jones. The run opens at 7pm on Friday 11 December and closes with a 5.30pm show on Sunday 3 January, with matinees and some 10.30am weekday shows in between.
There is a relaxed performance at 12pm on Thursday 17 December, at 16 a seat, for anyone who would like a less formal show. Signed and audio-described performances are on Sunday 20 December at 1.30pm and Tuesday 29 December at 6pm.
Standard tickets run from 23.50 to 35.50 depending on the seat, and 21.50 to 33.50 for those aged 16 and under. Family tickets for three to six people, including at least one under 16, are 26 each on selected performances. The box office is on 01325 405405. The theatre is on Parkgate in Darlington town centre.
