Family Life Church on Finkle Street holds a Christmas market on Saturday 28 November, from 10am to 4pm, with handmade gift, home and food stalls from local makers. Entry is free.
Santa's Grotto runs in the church the same day, from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm, at 5 per child, and places are booked through the church's online booking page.
It is the day after the Christmas lights switch-on, and the Christmas Fayre in the Town Hall and the Rural Arts makers market are on the same Saturday, so a morning can take in all three. The church is a short walk from the Market Place.
