The Ritz on Westgate is one of Britain's oldest continuously operating cinemas, and around a hundred volunteers keep it going. Each film usually runs for a week, with a 7.30pm showing.
We list the next two here as the Visit Thirsk bulletin publishes them. The Ritz's own site has the full programme and is the place to book. It is five minutes from our door, so tea and cake before the film works well.
