The Great Yorkshire Pumpkin Festival
Monk Park Farm's pumpkin patch, ten minutes from Thirsk, on October weekends, a toddler week from 19 October, then every day through half term to Halloween, with two adults-only nights and one family night
The pumpkin patch at Monk Park Farm opens on the first weekend of October and runs every weekend after that. From Monday 19 to Friday 23 October the farm runs a Toddler Pumpkin Festival on a shorter day, and from Saturday 24 October it is open every day through half term to Halloween. Last admission is two hours before closing, so on the toddler days that means arriving by 1pm. Every ticket carries a voucher for one small pumpkin, and there is a carving station on site.
The farm is about ten minutes' drive from Thirsk, near Bagby. Two ticket types run in the daytime: the full farm with the patch, or the patch on its own. The evening nights are the adults-only ones on Saturday 17 and Saturday 24 October, and the Family Pumpkin Night on Sunday 25 October.
