Frightwater Valley at Lightwater Valley
Lightwater Valley's Halloween event, Frightwater Valley Presents Movie Mayhem, every day of half term to 31 October, ending with fireworks over Swan Lake
Lightwater Valley, the family adventure park at North Stainley just north of Ripon, runs its Halloween event, Frightwater Valley Presents Movie Mayhem, every day until Saturday 31 October, 10.30am to 5pm.
This year's theme is the movies. There are film characters to meet on Icon Avenue, a Dead Pirate Show, a live scare maze, Trick or Treat Doors and a Halloween soft play, alongside more than 35 rides and attractions. The Trick or Treat Trail, with ten stations, costs extra.
The season ends on Saturday 31 October with a 10-minute firework display over Swan Lake at 5pm, set to Halloween music and subject to the weather. The park then closes for the winter.
