The Polar Express Train Ride from Leeming Bar
The Polar Express Train Ride on the Wensleydale Railway from Leeming Bar, on weekends from 13 November and every day from 18 to 23 December
The Polar Express Train Ride runs on the Wensleydale Railway from Leeming Bar station, just off the A1(M). Trains run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 13 November to 13 December, then every day from Friday 18 to Wednesday 23 December.
On board, the Conductor and the chefs from the film perform songs from The Polar Express as the story is acted out along the way, and Santa hands each child their first gift of Christmas. Guests are invited to come in pyjamas. There are up to six departures a day, from 10.40am to 7.30pm.
Tickets cost 35.95 to 57.95 each, fees included, depending on the date and time, and under-2s sitting on an adult's lap are 5. Several departures had already sold out when we checked on 27 October.
