Rural Arts holds a Christmas Makers Market at the Old Courthouse on Westgate on Saturday 28 November, a day for buying presents from independent makers. The Courthouse already has a shop of independent artists' work, and the market brings in more of it for one day.
It is five minutes from the Market Place on foot. Rural Arts lists the times on its own page.
