Christmas Shopping Weekend at Ryedale Folk Museum
Ryedale Folk Museum at Hutton-le-Hole closes its season with a Christmas shopping weekend on 28 and 29 November, 10am to 4pm
Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton-le-Hole holds a Christmas shopping weekend in its gift shop on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, 10am to 4pm each day. Shoppers are offered a free non-alcoholic wassail punch or a mulled wine, and anyone spending over 30 gets a free festive bag; museum admission does not count towards the 30.
These are the museum's last two open days of 2026 before it closes for the winter. The Making a Meal of It exhibition and Simon Crawford's paintings in the gallery also run until 29 November.
Admission to the museum itself is 12 for an adult and 10 for a child aged 4 to 15, and a ticket gives a year of entry. Hutton-le-Hole is about forty-five minutes from Thirsk.
