Santa's Polar Kingdom, Harrogate
Santa's Polar Kingdom fills the Great Yorkshire Events Centre in Harrogate from 11 to 23 December, with a light trail, Santa's Workshop and an ice rink
Santa's Polar Kingdom is an indoor Christmas attraction at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. It runs from Friday 11 to Wednesday 23 December, closed on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 December.
A standard ticket covers the Elf Forest light trail, the North Pole Post Office, Santa's Workshop, a Santa and Mrs Claus Christmas show, the Ice Kingdom, the Candy Cane Forest, live music and a Christmas market, with free parking and no time limit once you are in. Ice skating and the Santa Express can be added to a standard ticket; VIP tickets include skating, queue-jump entry and the nearest parking. Food, drink and funfair rides cost extra.
You book an arrival slot between 10am and 7.30pm. Standard tickets start at 22.99 and rise to 29.99 for the last three days, and later slots can cost a little more. The showground is about forty minutes from Thirsk.
