Artisan craft fayre in Sowerby
Handmade jewellery, candles, knitting, wood and textiles at Sowerby Parochial Hall, raising money for Margaret's Orphanage in Uganda, with sandwiches and home baking
A Sunday craft fayre in the parish hall by Sowerby Flatts, twenty minutes or so on foot south of the Market Place. Stalls carry handmade jewellery, candles, artwork, crochet, knitted gifts, wooden pieces and textiles.
It is a fundraiser for Margaret's Orphanage in Uganda, and the hall's own cafe serves sandwiches and home baking. Entry and parking are free. The Flatts are good for a walk afterwards if the weather holds.
