Thirsk Repair Cafe

Volunteers at Thirsk Library try to mend whatever broken or worn-out thing you bring along, for a donation

Bring a lamp that has stopped working, a torn coat, a wobbly chair or a toaster that has given up, and a team of volunteers will try to fix it with you. The aim is less waste and less money spent replacing things that only need a small repair.

The last repair is taken at 12.30pm. The library is on Chapel Street, a short walk from the Market Place. Volunteers who can mend things are welcome too, and the Visit Thirsk listing has the contact.
